LCI Education Study Abroad seeks a forward-thinking professional passionate about strategic planning in education abroad. This position requires the candidate to be stationed in Costa Rica to join our team as the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning at Universidad LCI Veritas Study Abroad, an esteemed higher education institution dedicated to providing exceptional study abroad experiences.

 

Profile Description:

As the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning, you will play a vital role in overseeing and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives within our education abroad department. Working closely with the Executive Director, you'll contribute to the development and execution of plans that drive our unit's growth and efficiency. Your keen analytical skills will be instrumental in aligning our Costa Rica Study Abroad operations with institutional strategic objectives and informing decision-making through data and trend analysis.

 

General Responsibilities:

- Collaborate in formulating and executing organizational strategy.

- Ensure alignment of team projects and activities with strategic objectives.

- Conduct data and trend analysis to contribute to decision-making.

- Contribute to developing procedures related to growth and strategic planning.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesion and effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate for this position has the following profile.

Professional and Academic Competencies:

- Previous experience in strategic planning or similar roles within higher education institutions or educational providers.

- Intercultural dexterity and global affairs knowledge.

- Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data.

- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

- Results orientation and ability to manage complex projects.

- Master's degree in business administration, international relations, marketing, or a related field.

- Fully bilingual: Spanish and English.
