Support Credit & Analytical Work for the Financial Institutions Group
(Banking, Insurance, Asset Management):
- Analyzing financial statements with focus on credit conditions
- Reviewing and analyzing ratios
- Preparing spreadsheets and charts
- Writing analytical commentary
- Identifying trends in data
- Developing proven understanding of Moody’s methodologies
- Preparing presentation materials for outreach activities
- Working with database
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business administration, Accounting, or similar field
- Accounting background with strong focus in financial analysis (e.g., through coursework, or meaningful work experience 1+ year) would be an advantage
- Strong English language skills.
- Proven knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Attention to detail and dedication to producing high quality, accurate work
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
The Associates in the Data & Analytics team are working with the Analysts in Moody’s credit ratings process. The Associate role provides a range of support services to the overall credit analysis function, including financial data analysis, research, analytical outreach, and presentations.
