Position Overview
Autodesk Technical Sales Specialists are responsible for organizing and presenting technical industry content/demonstrations in customer calls and meetings. Such engagements are intended to drive revenue in collaboration with our Inside Sales teams as well as channel partners. The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) must possess the ability to present Autodesk’s Design and Manufacturing solutions to Mechanical Engineers, Product Designers, and other stakeholders in the industry. The TSS will perform detailed presentations of Autodesk products in technical, pre-sales environments, to audiences both small and large while maintaining high level of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism. The TSS is expected to use their industry knowledge and understanding of competitive solutions to articulate the value of Autodesk's solutions. The TSS thoroughly understands the capabilities of the Autodesk solutions and the business benefits that customers can realize by implementing them within their business. TSS can tailor their conversations to executives and end users.
For this position, we value your manufacturing industry expertise, your years of hands-on design experience and understanding of design/manufacturing workflows and best practices. If you have excellent communication skills, and a high degree of comfort presenting / evangelizing solutions 1:1 and one to many and customer focused you are a good fit.

**Responsibilities**:
Partner with Territory Inside Sales Reps and/or Channel Partner Managers to:
- Facilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes with our customers to help uncover business issues/drivers/initiatives and use this information to connect Autodesk solutions to business outcome value
- Perform in-depth assessments of customer processes to investigate, uncover and understand customer’s business issues
- Utilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementRequired Skills and Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Mechanical Design/Manufacturing industry
- Understands the manufacturing industry and maintains knowledge of future trends
- Understands project workflows from design, estimation, administration, coordination and fabrication
- Knowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats and interoperability techniques
- Proficient in Autodesk Product Design and Manufacturing products:
- Inventor
- Fusion 360
- Vault Professional
- Knowledge on the following products is a plus:
- AutoCAD Mechanical & Electrical toolsets
- Inventor iLogic
- Inventor Nastran
- Inventor CAM (HSM)
- Factory Design Utilities
- Product Lifecycle Management soutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or Product Design
- Excellent oral communication and writing skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of large audiences
- Must have credibility and respect at the executive level and be able to connect technically at the user level
- Strong analytical skills in terms of solving complex problems within supported industry(s)
- Strong teamwork / relationship management skills
- Requirements gathering and discovery proficiency
- Sales methodology or technical sales experience a plus

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Work with new users to register and set up accounts on the platform.
- Assisting in software installation and troubleshooting issues
- Manage the workflow process of patient specific items to our manufacturing teams
- Assist in correlating account data between different internal systems
- Support project improvement tasks specific to improve current state functions with internal departments and external vendors.
Business Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up deliveries of finished product to the field
- Promptly providing ETA and tracking information for patient specific items
- Proactively reaching out to customers when there are delays
- Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary, sales, confidential company information, and patient data.

POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position will require strong interpersonal phone and email skills and a strong customer focus resolving and troubleshooting customer issues. It will include troubleshooting equipment by phone and with service technicians and solving application problems with the end user that may or may not be comfortable using a computer. This position requires working standard departmental support hours (8am - 6pm EST Mon-Fri), holidays and overtime, as dictated by business needs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in troubleshooting and installation of computer software/hardware and remote desktop solutions via help desk, or phone support in a technical-related field.
· Experience in troubleshooting network environments IE. TCP/IP, LAN, DNS, Client/Server configuration, user permissions.

**Objective**
Develop the design process through the execution of the different stages of the project
assigned.
**Responsibilities**
- Design Medium-High complexity projects under supervision of higher rank engineer, performing design proposals of the different systems and electromechanical reach, with a technical foundation and following the guidelines of the project engineer
- Asistir al ingeniero de proyectos con reuniones/visitas al sitio para coordinar con clientes/proveedores para dar seguimiento al desarrollo de los proyectos.
- Digitalizar la información producto del análisis y desarrollo del diseño, según indicaciones del ingeniero del proyecto (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, Dialux, etc.).
- Apoyar al ingeniero de proyectos con la revisión y/o corrección de los planos de diseño electromecánico realizados en Circuito.
- Comprobar y corregir los planos de diseño electromecánico realizados por otras empresas o personas extranjeras de Circuito, en base a la normativa aplicable
- Completar el progreso de los proyectos asignados de manera semanal utilizando la herramienta EDT
- Registrar diariamente las horas de trabajo utilizadas en un proyecto asignado con el sistema Praesto. - Garantizar la calidad del diseño, apoyando sus cálculos y propuestas de diseño
- Establecer contacto con proveedores para solicitudes de diseño, especificaciones de equipos y asistencia en proyectos, entre otros
- Realizar otras tareas propias del trabajo
