Acerca del Rol
Como
Coordinador/a de Protección de Activos
, serás clave para garantizar que nuestras tiendas operen de forma segura, eficiente y alineada con nuestros estándares.
Responsabilidades
- Supervisar la correcta ejecución de protocolos de seguridad y protección de activos.
- Coordinar con autoridades legales en situaciones que lo requieran.
- Asegurar el funcionamiento de brigadas de emergencia y dispositivos de seguridad.
- Dar seguimiento a inventarios físicos y acciones para reducir merma.
- Implementar procesos y políticas de seguridad, riesgos y protección alimentaria.
- Asesorar al personal de tienda y reportar hallazgos relevantes.
Calificaciones
- Secundaria completa (preferiblemente con estudios técnicos en Administración o afín).
- 2 a 3 años de experiencia en seguridad, control interno o manejo de crisis (idealmente en retail).
Habilidades Requeridas
- Conocimiento en protocolos de seguridad, manejo de herramientas digitales y enfoque al cliente.
- Habilidades de liderazgo, toma de decisiones y orientación a resultados.
Habilidades Preferidas
- Preferible: Carnet de manipulación de alimentos al día.

**JOB SUMMARY**
Manages housekeeping functions and staff to ensure property guest rooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Areas of responsibility include Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and, if applicable, Laundry. Directs and works with team to successfully execute all housekeeping operations. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
**Languages:**
+ Advanced proficiency in **English and Spanish** (spoken and written).
**Experience:**
+ Proven experience **leading a housekeeping department** in a hotel or resort with **200+ rooms** .
+ Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, coordinate daily operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
+ Experience implementing and monitoring housekeeping procedures, inventory control, and quality assurance programs.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Housekeeping Operations**
- Maintains strong working relationship with Front Office to ensure effective communications for operational issues.
- Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Ensures guestrooms, public space and employee areas are cleaned according to operating standards.
- Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
- Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms, public areas, employee work and locker areas, storage areas, recreation areas, laundry areas, garage and grounds.
**Managing Departmental Costs**
- Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.
- Understands the importance of department's operation on the overall property financial goals and educates staff on details as appropriate.
- Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.
- Keeps the Housekeeping team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
- Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

- Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints effectively.

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Conduct investigations and gather evidence related to theft/fraud or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest complaints and incidents. Conduct interviews with relevant parties in order to obtain statements and information related to incidents. Assist with and notify manager/supervisor, local police, or other appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents such as theft, accidents, physical hazards, and fire alarms. Handle business interruptions and complaints, such as suspicious individuals, civil disturbances or demonstrations, noise complaints, intoxicated individuals, etc. Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation. Defuse guest or employee disturbances/altercations, including summoning appropriate authorities if necessary, and documenting incident.
