**Organization & Role**:
The Teradyne Software Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Software Engineer to focus on the development of software systems for products within the Eagle Test division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment. This individual will report directly to the Software Engineering Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Software instrument development tasks consist of writing software that presents a programmatic interface to the software and hardware that control Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). The software is intended to control the hardware, but must also interface to databases and class structures that will be loaded to the ATE. The interface that is developed presents a specific user model to the customers of the equipment; the goals are ease of use, completeness, and performance.

Some of the key responsibilities will be to:

- Assist in developing a customer toolset (programmatic interface software) to control and use instruments on ATE systems
- Assist in debugging system and board level hardware operations through the software toolset
- Develop and maintain internal software tools to assist the development and debugging process
- Develop and maintain internal tools to measure and assure the quality of the delivered software

**Basic Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum BS degree in EE, CS, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years’ experience
- Proficient in C++ under.NET or C
- Proficient in Visual Studio 2015 (or later) or equivalent
- Excellent written, verbal and group communication skills.
- Self-motived, proactive
- Firm grasp of software development process

Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable, multi-tenant bank technology platform components with bank-grade data isolation and security.

Requirements
Technical Experience
Required experience working in banking or fintech
5+ years of software development experience in enterprise SaaS environments serving 100K+ users.
Proven expertise in distributed systems and data-intensive applications, ideally within financial services or banking technology.
Strong background in Golang (3+ years) for building secure, high-performance API services, supplemented by Java/Spring experience.
Expert-level PostgreSQL skills including database design, optimization, security, and performance tuning in demanding environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud for enterprise deployments, including security and compliance frameworks.
Experience working remotely within distributed engineering teams and agile development processes.
AI & Automation
Demonstrated passion for AI development agents and agentic technologies in software development workflows.
Practical knowledge of AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and others.

The Ubuntu MAAS team is responsible for delivering our Metal As A Service hyperscale provisioning technology. Ubuntu strives to be the most scalable, cloud ready server distribution and MAAS is our platform to get it there. MAAS is a rapidly evolving software stack written in Python and Go, and we are looking for experienced software engineers who understand performance at scale, networking, storage and usability.

**What you'll do**:

- Develop MAAS core components and features to make MAAS the #1 bare metal cloud system.

**Who you are**:

- At least 5 years of proven professional software development experience in Python, Go or similar.

- Experience with Linux server technologies, including but not limited to Virtualization (KVM), Containers (LXC), etc.

Join our Quartus and eTools development team as a Software Engineer where you will research, design, develop, and optimize software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA).
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Research, design, develop, and optimize software tools that enable the use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and eASIC devices.
- Develop and optimize compilers, place and route, flows, assemblers, models, tools, runtimes, and/or firmwares that are closely coupled to FPGA silicon, IP, and boards, while leveraging strong knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductor devices, and chip layout.

**Qualifications**
Minimum Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field plus 6 or more years of industry work experience, or
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field plus 4 or more years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

- 6 plus years Software development in C/C++.
