Responsibilities
- Work within a team of technology consultants to design, build, and implement public cloud & IT infrastructure solutions with the goal of improving client business and technical operations
- Interview client stakeholders, assess current state IT processes and infrastructure environments, define requirements, and make solution recommendations
- Develop migration plans and strategies for implementing or improving cloud services, cloud-based applications, on-premises systems, end-user technology, and/or networking capabilities
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, and other tools to modernize client environments and automate tasks during migrations. Build and configure services on a reference architecture.
- Demonstrate proficiency in key processes and methodologies, including Agile practices, CI/CD workflows, and requirements gathering, to ensure alignment with client expectations and maintain confidence in our ability to follow their established processes
- Partner with architects, engagement leads, and other consultant teammates to present solution roadmaps to client executives and communicate project status updates
- Leverage both external & internal trainings as well as our Cloud Computing-Center of Excellence to sharpen technical proficiencies, learn new technologies, and further develop leadership skills
- Contribute to practice development such as creating re-usable frameworks, developing internal training, technology accelerators
- Coach and mentor to junior consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
- Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
- 4-6+ years of IT experience in areas such as public cloud computing (required), Windows/Linux systems, end-user technology, servers & virtualization, networking, data center, security, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on public cloud deployment experience
- Experience working on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, 'on-prem to cloud' migration projects and hands on experience with the following: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), VNet, Azure Storage, AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, EKS
- Experience using scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.), automation, and/or Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform to deploy hybrid-cloud environments
- Comfortable in conveying complex public cloud and other IT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and presenting to executive level clients
- Proficient verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills
Preferred certifications:

- Implement solutions for data migration, data delivery, and ML pipelines in AWS.
- Develop secure, resilient, and high-performing data platforms leveraging AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Redshift, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, and more).
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Troubleshoot and optimize ETL/SQL processes in large-scale environments.
- Build solutions for feature engineering pipelines, with hands-on development in SageMaker or Tecton.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and bring new approaches to improve scalability and performance.
Requirements:
- Strong SQL (critical requirement).
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Redshift, etc.).
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse platforms.
- Proven ability to design and implement data warehouse and data lake architectures.
- Experience building feature stores in AWS (SageMaker or Tecton).
- Strong understanding of security, IAM roles, and policies in cloud environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- ISC certification.
- Experience with modern ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Airflow).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS Fargate.
- Familiarity with large-scale streaming services (Kafka).

Cloud Resiliency Engineer will support customers through focused technical engagements aimed at improving the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their cloud environments. The architect will combine deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure with a strong command of disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resiliency processes, including the design and evaluation of Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs).
This role requires the ability to assess both cloud infrastructure and resiliency processes end-to-end, identifying risks, aligning to best practices, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations that strengthen the customer's ability to withstand and recover from disruptions. Must have excellent Spanish and English skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Deep experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) design in Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of Azure architecture, including infrastructure, Availability Zones, backup/recovery, and monitoring services.
- Familiarity with cloud-native resiliency patterns and site reliability engineering (SRE) methods.
- Proven ability to assess and design effective Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) that align with operational SLAs and business risk tolerances.
- Experience in business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and process maturity assessments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and executive stakeholders.
- Background in technical consulting or assessment-based delivery engagements.
Certifications (will need to get certified within 2-3 months of joining if missing any of the following)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
