Job Description

We are seeking a Finance-focused Business Analyst to join Experian Automotive. This role will play a critical part in delivering business insights, enhancing reporting, and streamlining core business intelligence. The right candidate will be data-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to partner cross functionally to drive key business decisions, track performance, and improve process.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Establish, maintain, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business and financial performance.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecast cycles by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and building reporting that highlights risks and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that deliver clear, actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement efforts to streamline recurring reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct ad hoc business and financial analysis, providing recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Technology partners to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting and data usage.
  • Document finance processes and reporting standards to enable scalability and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, AWS, Tableau, and Oracle to design, enhance, and deliver reporting solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, finance, business analysis, or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS, or financial and/or statistical oriented software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner.
  • Ability to balance detail orientation with high-level summaries while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience developing analyses using large datasets.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines.

  • Brindar soporte analítico a proyectos transversales en el área financiera, así como, participar activamente en iniciativas de mejora de procesos financieros, proponiendo automatizaciones, integraciones o soluciones más eficientes en la gestión de datos y elaboración de reportes.

Requisitos:

  • Estudiante avanzado en Dirección de Empresas, Economía, Finanzas o carreras afines.
  • Experiencia mínima de 1 año en análisis financiero, presupuestos o elaboración de modelos y proyecciones.
  • Al menos 6 meses de experiencia en el análisis de ingresos, gastos, márgenes y rentabilidad, así como en la preparación de reportes financieros y gestión de bases de datos.
  • Al menos 6 meses de experiencia en la creación y mantenimiento de dashboards e indicadores financieros (KPIs) para apoyar la gestión y la toma de decisiones.
  • Dominio avanzado de Excel.

Required Skills

Opportunity Overview
We have a great job opportunity for an Analyst in the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (CFP&A) group. This position will support Senior Management through the consolidation and interpretation of Total Company reporting.
This is based out of our Alajuela, Costa Rica office with a hybrid job model.
A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well in a remote team environment, be accountable, have attention to detail, and have problem solving skills. The Teradyne CFP&A team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic Financial Analyst to focus on enterprise-wide FP&A fundamentals and processes. This person will report directly to the Corporate FP&A Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various input and load templates, formats and output template forms to ensure correct and accurate information is pulled from FP&A planning tool in support of various function reporting requirements
  • Own the template creation, distribution and consolidation process within the FP&A planning tool in support of weekly finance updates, G&A spending, forecast updates and Mid Term plans
  • Provide support for Board of Directors through the preparation and distribution of the various output tables for each division ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of required files
  • Support weekly spending analytics for the central G&A functions through the aggregation, evaluation and preparation of weekly spend and analytical reports from the ERP, Datawarehouse and FP&A planning tool
  • Build relationships across Teradyne's finance organization and collaborate cross functionally to promote understanding of Teradyne's business and drivers of financial results
  • Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts; Teradyne will be embarking on an ERP upgrade – key enhancement opportunities exist in teamwork to develop a cohesive and integrated planning cadence
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with the operating segments to nurture cross-sharing of communications
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed

Minimum Job Requirements
