The Opportunity:
Strategio is seeking a
Senior Data Engineer
to join a globally recognized Banking Data Platform project. This role is pivotal in shaping the next-generation cloud-based data infrastructure. You'll design, build, and optimize data pipelines, implement governance and automation standards, and enable AI-powered analytics that fuel business decisions at scale.

As a Strategio Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and deploy cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise data needs
- Translate raw data into well-modeled datasets for dashboards, analytics, and AI use cases
- Champion data quality, governance, and access controls across multiple environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows to support seamless data operations
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to drive data-driven solutions
- Contribute to dashboard development and reporting tools for internal teams
- Support innovative AI initiatives by enabling clean, accessible, and scalable data
Core Skills:
- Advanced English is a must.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL: optimization, modeling, and complex querying
- Professional fluency in Python, especially for data tasks (pandas, pyspark, pyarrow, numpy)
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, ideally Databricks, or Snowflake/Redshift
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure, including permissions, serverless tools (Lambda), and storage solutions
- A track record of building well-governed, scalable data pipelines and workflows
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Summary: The Data Engineer III plays a crucial role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our data strategy. This role focuses on contributing to the development of data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
