We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong technical expertise and a commitment to best practices in data engineering. The ideal candidate ensures high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity, while demonstrating curiosity, continuous learning, and attention to detail.
The Data Engineer will design, develop, and implement cloud-based analytics platforms (DAP) and data pipelines that acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from diverse sources. **About the job Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide top-tier technical support to customers, resolving complex issues related to Cloud and Big Data services.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala, and C/C++ for troubleshooting and debugging purposes.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the improvement of product reliability and functionality.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Hadoop or similar Big Data/Analytics technologies, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Drive the adoption of Open Source technologies within the support ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain tools, processes, and methodologies to streamline support operations and enhance efficiency.
- Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in Cloud and Big Data technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing or support roles within the IT industry.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Platform, AWS, and Microsoft Big Data services.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, R, Scala, and REST concepts.
- Familiarity with development tools, languages, and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.
- Experience with Data Integration solutions and services.
- Knowledge of C#,.NET, PowerShell, and CLI is desirable.
- Prior experience in service engineering and/or DevOps at an enterprise level is advantageous.
