We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and production planning processes. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of direct and indirect materials, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships (both domestic and international), and ensuring efficient support for national production and new product development. Additionally, the role will lead production planning efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials, aligning supply with manufacturing demand and capacity.
Job Responsibilities:

INTERNSHIP SCOPE
The Supply Chain Intern will be supporting the Supply Chain team with tasks related to selecting and working with a group of suppliers in support of domestic production and new product development. Suppliers will include domestic and international locations.
EXPOSURE TO THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Materials Planning and Administrative: Generates, adjusts and expedites purchase orders based on MRP (material requirements planning) along with pertinent information being used to run the business, i.e. schedule adherence, S&OP, etc. Generates buy action based on authorized spending amount.

Key Responsibilities, Leadership & Strategy

supporting the Performance Products (PP) Division located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager.
Job Scope
Huntsman Performance Products is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) to support a fast paced, high volume product line at Huntsman. This role will focus heavily on executing a supply plan that meets customers' forecasted demand, supporting inventory targets, and identifying areas for process improvement across the supply chain.
Summary
In summary, as the Supply Chain Analyst, you will:
- Perform daily supply chain operations which may any of the following activities:
- Confirming material availability and shipment dates for new orders
- Managing outbound deliveries ensuring material availability and carrier assignment
- Monitoring the execution of the supply and shipment plan and providing feedback to customer service or customers as exceptions occur
- Perform and troubleshoot SAP transactions to support order management and delivery activities. The SCA will lead a cross functional operations meeting (called PAT – Process Aligned Team) to review exception reports and proactively manage orders and shipments. Ensure that assigned SAP master data is kept accurate and current.
- Responsible for On Time In Full (OTIF) metric for assigned areas of responsibility and for entering reason codes for any shipments that do not meet the criteria for a successful shipment
- Ensure that month-end close out and inventory reconciliation for plant or stocking location is completed in an accurate and timely manner and coordinate/participate in financial audits as needed.
- Execute and manage assigned inventories and make recommendations for balancing service levels and inventory costs
- Manage the supply to and deliveries from assigned stock locations.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints for assigned areas of responsibility
- Ensure that supply location (plants and stock points) personnel are trained and follow established Huntsman work processes
- Continuous improvement activities for identifying deficiencies and implementing process improvements
- Cross-train and perform assigned backup functions for other Supply Chain personnel
