**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Perform Azure IaaS/PaaS services and monitoring using ScienceLogic and Azure Monitor as applicable
- Monitor 24x7 and generate an auto ticket in the ticketing tool - Service Now
- Validate and update KPI as per the agreed operational KPI list
- Perform operation management as per contract support hours
- Perform Incident, Problem and Change Management
- Coordinate with cloud provider for any Azure VM or Service level issues at the cloud provider level
- Perform Azure vNET management and Azure Load balancer management.
- Perform health checking as per agreed datacenter services patching standard
- Azure service capacity monitoring using Cloud-Native Tools
- Recommended cost optimization opportunities as it arises

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 1-2 years of experience Supporting Linux environments
- Expertise in the managing Cloud platforms such as MS Azure
- Familiarity with automation tools in the cloud
- Expertise in the public cloud operations and managing services
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL, PostgresSQL, MySQL Cloud Object Store
- Experience in managing firewalls and network-related components

What you´ll do:

- Advanced understanding of vulnerabilities and the vulnerability process from identification and scoring to remediation.
- Ability to dissect operational processes converting them to detailed requirements to build an automated workflow.

- Act as the liaison to business units to fulfill audit, regulatory compliance and/or corporate security policy requirements.
- Develop documentation for processes, automation, and workflow in common documentation platform markup language

**Qualifications**:
What your background looks like:

- 3+ years of information security, preferably engineering or development
- 3+ years administrating Windows and Linux systems
- 2+ years on teams utilizing Agile methodologies
- 2+ years performing root cause analysis on technical problems
- 2+ years Python, Ruby, or Shell development skills
- 2+ years working with cloud computing
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Security, similar discipline or related work experience preferred
- Experience with a wide range of security products
- Good understanding of Windows as well as RPM and.deb based Linux distributions(security and systems administration)
- Ability to effectively communicate with anyone, from end users to senior leadership
- facilitating technical and non-technical conversations.

**What you will do**
The Mid-Level IT Security Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, support and management of the IAM systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in identity management solutions, access control policies, ability to respond and resolve issues within Service Level Agreements (SLA) and a deep understanding of IT security standard methodologies. This role is important in ensuring that the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times and for the right reasons.
**Your Impact**
Develop and Migrate and maintain identity governance frameworks to ensure user access is stays in sync with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Implement and handle IAM systems, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
Resolve issues raised by users of the platform within SLAs using standard operating procedures following ITIL framework.
Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems.
Work closely with IT, HR, Risk and Compliance and other business units to ensure detailed integration of IAM solutions.
Conduct regular audits of user access and permissions to ensure compliance with established policies.
Respond to and investigate security incidents related to unauthorized access.
Build and maintain documentation for IAM processes and policies.
Deliver training and support to users on IAM procedures and standard methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, IAM technologies, and industry trends.
Collaborate with team members to improve overall security posture.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Demonstrated ability in IT security, with a focus on identity governance and access management, supporting Enterprise user platforms.
+ Solid experience with implementing and maintaining IGA systems like Sailpoint (IIQ and/or ISC).
+ Solid experience working in AWS or other public cloud platforms and Knowledge of directory services, LDAP, and Active Directory.
+ Working experience demonstrable experience with IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Duo, Ping Identity) and solid grasp of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and NIST.
**Preferred Qualifications**

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

- Work with team to document lessons learned and develop plan for deployment to all in scope devices
- Deploy Carbon Black to all in scope devices
- Identifies critical areas for improvement in the technology used
- The main point of responsibility in data security efficiency in terms of ensuring it operates according to governance and compliance policies
- Monitor and analyze security events using endpoint security tools and SIEM solutions.

- Ensure documentation and processes are well defined so that the engineered solutions are understood and repeatable.
- Ensure solutions are well built, backed up & restore tested, and consistently maintained for health

- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures related to endpoint security

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted
- Certifications not required, but encouraged: Carbon Black Certified CBBE - Defense Analyst, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, or other endpoint security-related certifications
- Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capabilities

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of systems administration experience
- 3 - 5 years of endpoint security operations experience for a large-scale company
- 3 - 5 years of proven experience with Carbon Black or other endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
- In-depth knowledge of legacy OS such as Windows 7/10
- Experience with implementing and managing endpoint security controls
- Strong organization skills, leading sophisticated projects

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Excellent understanding of endpoint security principles and best practices, with hands-on experience implementing Carbon Black
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies for legacy OS endpoints
- Strong knowledge of threat detection and incident response processes
- Strong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action
- Validated flexibility and ability to perform in a multidimensional environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in endpoint security.
- Hands-on experience using and/or configuration of one or more of the following, are a plus:

- PowerShell
- CIS Benchmarks OS hardening
- Splunk/Elk Stack/AWS Opensearch/Axonius

Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the security posture of client cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies. This role requires a strong focus on both technical security controls and process governance to ensure resilient, compliant, and secure cloud architectures. The Cloud Security Engineer will engage directly with clients, guiding them through security assessments, architecture reviews, and implementation plans. Must have French communication skills and either Spanish or English.
**Responsibilities**

+ Focus on both technical security controls and process governance to ensure resilient, compliant, and secure cloud architectures.
+ Engage directly with clients, guiding them through security assessments, architecture reviews, and implementation plans.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture and assessment, specifically within Microsoft Azure environments.
+ Deep knowledge of Azure security architecture and cloud-native security resiliency patterns.
+ Strong experience with security frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001).
+ Proficient in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security compliance standards.
+ Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
+ Hands-on experience with Azure security and governance services: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure AD (Entra ID), PIM, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Security Assessments, such as the Well-Architected Review Assessment (WARA) and Microsoft Security Assessment Frameworks.
+ Experience working directly with clients in customer-facing roles to deliver security assessments and solutions.
+ Solid understanding of process governance, security incident response planning, and Major Incident Response Plan (MIRP) development.
**Certifications** **:** _(willing to get individuals certified within the first 2-4 months of joining CNX)_
