We're looking for a creative, inspired and oriented
Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator
to join our team. This role will directly support the Brand & Marketing Manager in coordinating digital content for campaigns Tierramor's retreats, events, residential offerings, and volunteer/internship programs.
This role is remote, part-time (25 hours/week) - and
requires Spanish and English proficiency
(Citizens of Costa Rice preferred).
Role Overview
The Digital
Marketing & Content Coordinator
will bring creative energy, design skills, and organizational focus to Tierramor's marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a Canva wizard who loves building beautiful content and enjoys working across all social media platforms, email newsletter platforms (Mailchimp) and Squarespace. You'll collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager to execute digital campaigns for a variety of offerings, build monthly newsletters, prepare basic analytics reports, design sales materials and other branded assets.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
- Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager to develop multi-platform educational and promotional content
- Design, schedule, and publish engaging digital assets (graphics, carousels, reels, stories) for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Support in developing branded internal materials.
- Monitor social media activity and assist with basic community engagement.
Email Marketing
- Build and send monthly newsletters in Mailchimp.
- Support with segmentation, formatting, and light copy editing.
- Basic monthly reporting on newsletter analytics.
Blog & Content Support
- Assist in curating and publishing monthly blog posts (formatting, light editing, image selection).
- Research and suggest content ideas aligned with Tierramor's mission.
Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Manager to execute multi-channel campaigns for events, retreats, and programs.
- Contribute creative ideas during planning sessions.
- Support with tracking and organizing content calendars.
Website and Brand Materials
- Regular website maintenance and content updates on our Squarespace site.
- Design branded sales decks, internal presentations and documents in Canva.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing support, content creation, or a related role.
- Strong Canva design skills (a must).
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email platforms.
- Keen interest in marketing analytics and reporting.
- Comfortable updating content in Squarespace (or willing to learn quickly).
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

- Spark discussion and monitor conversations across social media, address important mentions in real-time through engagement and understanding of ongoing milestones and activities.
- Create and develop multimedia (audio/video/photography) content for local stakeholders' stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, events videos, recruiting videos, training and other enterprise-wide projects, including script creation, storyboarding, budgeting, timelines, and allocation of resources, and selecting optimal forms of media for projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- B.A. or B.S. or similar (Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications or similar) or equivalent work experience
- 2 - 3 years of experience in graphical design, photography and video edition (Adobe Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere…)
- 2+ years of experience with Social Media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and Blogs
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills (Spanish and English)
- Comfortable collaborating with others in-person or virtually in a face paced environment.
- Experience with marketing campaigns
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Familiarity with professional cameras, production, filming and editing
- Experience writing, editing, producing, and tracking digital content
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
