Summary
Experian Partner Solutions (EPS) is looking for an AWS/Java Software Engineer II with a background in Java and AWS technologies to contribute to our new platform. As an EPS Engineer, you will be both a hands-on coder. THE WORK
- Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, EKS)
- Develop resilient microservices with strong performance, scalability, and observability standards
- Optimize system reliability and automate deployment pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and deliver seamless product experiences
- Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and infrastructure automation using Terraform and other IaC tools
NEEDED EXPERTISE
- 5+ years of experience in Java back-end development, with deep expertise in Spring Boot
- Proven track record designing and deploying cloud solutions on AWS
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid grasp of CI/CD, performance optimization, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
