Our team is seeking an innovative, insightful and result-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our Global Services Partner Initiatives (GSPI) Strategy and Operations (S&O) organization. The S&O organization is dedicated to working closely with the leadership team to formulate the medium to long term financial and strategic plans for AWS Partners across Global Services. We seek to increase efficiency and profitability by analyzing financial and operational results to better understand business performance and communicate results to senior leadership.

This role support and focuses on our GSPI internal (Finance, Field Operations, Leadership, Product and Program management, etc) and external (Global Services Business Units: ProServe, Training and Certification, Support, other BI teams, etc) stakeholders. Our data products help our customers make critical business decisions that impact revenue and pipeline generation across all industries. This role will also support the conception and build of forecasting models to predict partner staffing, pipeline forecasting, recommendations engine, as well as, existing QuickSight dashboards.

Key job responsibilities
- Interface with stakeholders and business partners to gather data and metrics requirements, translate them into technical specifications and drive analytics projects.
- Develop reporting, analytics and decision support to enable the GSPI organization leaders and teams to create accountability and mechanisms for operational management.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Think creatively - we want someone that will extract insights and provide business recommendations.
- Own and maintain on-going analytics tools, BI models and visualizations to increase visibility into key measures of business performance.
- Mine data from database tables (Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, Data Warehouse), manage ETL processes and develop creative BI solutions to support ad hoc requests.

As part of the QA Team you will be responsible for:

- Performing functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Creating test plans and detailed test cases using AzureDevOps or similar tool (preferably AzureDevOps);
- Documenting any defects found during the daily testing activities and track them to resolution.
- Supporting DevOps development teams test planning and execution, and code reviews.
- Participating in release activities and post-release support activities.
- Supporting user story mapping, sprint planning, estimation, and feature walk-throughs.
- Participating in user acceptance testing and maintenance of documentation.
- Reviewing the test plan implications of Change Requests.
- Contribute to/prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for PMO, Clients etc.
- Maintaining currency with industry best practices with regards to testing and test automation
- Remaining current with CRM/D365 and/or D365 F&O technologies and potential system implications related to Vendor release upgrades

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in business related field, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 2+ years of experience.
- Must have 1+ year of experience related to supporting software development test activities of a CRM system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ D365 or D365 F&O
- Must have demonstrated experience in one of these tool sets, Selenium, RSAT or EasyRepro
- Demonstrated experience developing software test plans & test cases.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

**Automation Skills**
- Preferred SpecFlow with Selenium using BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
- Understanding Gherkin Language and Cucumber
- Basics knowledge on Object-Oriented Programming
- Coding skills in C# and/or Java Script
- Knowledge on SQL and API testing

**Desired Qualifications**
- Industry testing certifications.
- Experience in Performance testing using open-source tools like JMeter.
- D365 certifications, classes, or exams.
- Azure certifications, classes, or exams.
