**Key Responsibilities**:
Specific tasks for the CQCM include but are not limited to the following:
- The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the construction sections of the project quality control plan (including the three phases of inspection) in compliance with Federal, DoD, and Navy requirements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

They provide execution of QA tasks with speed and great quality for the overall agility of the QA team.
**In this role, you will**:
- Is co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications.
- Might need to attend daily stand-ups or scrums on behalf of the team.
- Should be able to communicate test results, issues, and risks found to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channels.
- Should be able to assist in the creation and/or co-creation along with other staff members of any of the following: o Assist with test data identification
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans
- Writing and maintaining test cases/scripts
- Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements
- Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements
- Performing functional and exploratory testing
- Effectively communicating statuses
- Can assist with the following:
- Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution
- Report creation and related metrics at different levels when necessary
- Work and explain assignments when necessary to any co-worker and/or junior staff members
- Should be able to execute regression tests based on design specifications and requirements
- Expected to have an understanding of QA estimations and proactively help if needed on said estimations for the team
- Expected to have at least basic knowledge and understanding of the project life cycle and industry standards
- Expected to have an understanding of testing methodologies and strategies to be a gatekeeper so they can determine when to raise flags
- Should be able to work with other team members to ensure the success of projects
- Should be able to understand functional & non-functional, new or ongoing project requirements

**You should have**:
- English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation
- 1-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 1-3 years of experience in Agile methodologies for software development.
- 1 year of experience with local and off shore teams.
- Experience in testing web products (functional and non-functional manual testing)
- Jira
- Knowledge in CMS Testing
- Knowledge in Accessibility testing
**It’s a plus if you have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, project management, business, or related field.
- ISTQB Certification. Other QA related certifications
