The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality control plan as required and is responsible for the overall quality control for the project.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Specific tasks for the CQCM include but are not limited to the following:

- The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the construction sections of the project quality control plan (including the three phases of inspection) in compliance with Federal, DoD, and Navy requirements.

As a Quality Control Specialist, you are an excellent communicator who is able to work closely with Producers, Design Supervisors, Production Designers, Studio Artists and Technical artists to ensure assets are successfully delivered without errors. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Control Program at the site level in support of assigned aircraft and support equipment. Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electro-mechanical systems in accordance with maintenance manuals, test procedures and other military publications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections and functional operational tests during organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance, modification and repair of military tactical aircraft systems or associated components.
- Accept or reject work accomplished to ensure compliance with customer specifications, standards, and technical data.
- Perform analysis of defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends in order to provide creative solutions for improvement.
- Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements. Monitors training and certification requirements of the site Quality Control department.
- Perform Safety and Foreign Object Damage Inspections.

**Qualifications**

EDUCATION

Required:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.

Preferred:

- A.A./A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

- Minimum six (6) years of experience, of which four (4) must be specialized in supporting an aviation/aerospace program.
- Minimum two (2) years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Prior Quality Control experience.
- Host nation language proficiency per contract requirement. LATAM countries: Spanish Level 2 in both Listening and Reading (L2/R2).
- Must pass and/or obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or LN Embassy Check / RSO as required for the position, prior to hire.
- This role requires the employee to be fully vaccinated against COVID.

Preferred:

- Previous Quality Control experience on rotary aircraft.
