Opportunity Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Business Process Engineer who will serve as the primary liaison, translating business requirements into technical specifications for large-scale application implementation projects, collaborating with Business Users, Project Stakeholders, and IT teams. The ideal candidate is a data-driven individual who will have a key role in enabling decision-making and will also work on process improvement through automation.
Key responsibilities:

Minimum Job Requirements:

Business Architecture (BA) team is a dynamic strategic organization at the forefront of the Citi Transformation efforts. We act as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving the transformation of Citi into a simpler, customer-centric organization. We are responsible for partnering with business lines and functions to establish and execute the framework, which includes developing enterprise-wide taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures. We also provide the Businesses and Functions with ongoing governance, program oversight, and reporting to ensure consistency, control, and accountability as it relates to the program. We partner with the business to develop the frameworks that are the foundations of everything we do.
The Process Ownership Assessments (POA) Methodology Design and Operationalization VP will partner with senior stakeholders in the organization as part of the POA Methodology team responsible for formulating, designing, defining detailed data needs and technology business requirements; creating detailed test plans and testing the tech implementation; as well as interacting with 2nd line of defense oversight to calibrate and pressure-test the methodology calculations to attain sustainable and well-understood cross-enterprise results.
The VP is also responsible for designing, executing inward and instituting outwards execution and quality assurance Controls across all Businesses / Functions for the POA methodology and its data quality assurance operationalization, and ensuring these Controls continuous monitoring for effectiveness.
The VP will understand the broader objectives established by the BA Process Ownership leadership team and BA more broadly to strategically form a sustainable approach in agreement with Citi's Business and Functions leads. The role will also require coordination with other enterprise areas developing requirements that have inter-dependencies to BA to ensure a consistent solution. Responsible for executing on overall BA priorities.
Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally at various levels across impacted groups. Developed communication skills are required to guide and influence others. Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for understanding the overall BA methodology to drive the requirements in the organization with stakeholder accountability across the enterprise

Response and Resolution
- Reviews complex issues (e.g., multiple components of a product) and contacts customers to understand issue. Ensures customers stay informed as to the status/solution of their issue. Utilizes troubleshooting tools (e.g., event logs, performance traces) to help resolve customer issues.
- Acts as an advisor to the customer and handles complex, repeatable, or escalated cases that may become politically charged. Creates technical articles or knowledge base (e.g., edits or creates news/ knowledge-base articles) that is internal or customer facing for better customer understand. Provides best practices and education to ensure customer understands the problem in order to proactively resolve potential issues in the future.
- Performs complex product troubleshooting and remediation when needed. Works alongside the development teams to drive incident resolution for configuration, code, or other service deficiencies impacting customers. Analyzes patterns of problems and identifies workflows to optimize support engineering delivery for a team or region level.
- Collaborates on cross-team and cross-product technical issues by working with resources from other groups including support engineering groups, product groups, services team, and account team as needed to resolve complex customer issues.
Readiness
- Implements end-to-end readiness programs (e.g., mentoring, leading triages, content creation, brown bag sessions, blogs, quality assurance checks, writes technical articles) and contributes to the content and readiness strategy. Mentors Technical Support Engineers or members from other teams outside of Customer Service and Support (CSS). Develops expert level competence on support topics.
Product/Process Improvement
- Provides feedback to more senior engineers or serviceability team on functionality of products based on engagements with customers. Provides feedback to the product group for product improvement. Leverages overall product knowledge to determine if and when features require enhancements.
- Engages with engineering team to investigate product bugs, provides business impact, and collaborates with appropriate stakeholders and senior team members on fixes.
- Contributes to and/or develops automation techniques and diagnostic tools to improve cross-group effectiveness.
- Translates feedback and creates processes and workflows for case resolution.
- Participates in case triage meetings and/or case discussions to share knowledge with other engineers and contribute to more rapid customer solutions. Utilizes learnings from triage meetings to identify and communicate readiness needs to manager or readiness team.
Business Integration
- Implements strategic business decisions with customers, partners, and teams to increase market share. Influences peers to implement strategy.
**Qualifications**:**
Required Qualifications**:
- English Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
- 5+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
- Experience and knowledge in one or more of the technologies below:
Power Platform experience supporting or developing Power Automate, PowerApps or Power Virtual agents

- Support marketing managers and stakeholders throughout the entire campaign process, ensuring best practices and making recommendations as needed.
- Support integration of marketing automation tools and processes to grow and enrich the marketing contact database and actively participate in governance efforts to maintain database health and compliance.
- Track, monitor, and report campaign performance activities and provide insights.
- Ensure brand compliance per Emerson Global branding guidelines and adhere to standards and processes to keep projects moving forward.
- Review, test, and publish campaign assets within the expected timeframe. Edit assets as needed to ensure the campaign meets its targeted objectives.
- Stay current with the latest marketing automation trends, software certifications, and other trainings needed to perform at a high level.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems or Computer Science. Or have proven experience and capabilities to execute the duties and responsibilities listed above.
- +2-3 years of digital marketing experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML5, JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation software, or strong aptitude to quickly become proficient in Eloqua, ON24, and other software as needed.
- Database management and CRM experience is a plus.
- Proficient using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable collaborating with others in-person or virtually in a face paced environment.
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills in English.
**Working Conditions**
Working five day per week in a schedule from 8am to 5pm. The employee has the benefit of Remote Office up to three days per week, following a probationary period of employment and at the managers discretion. At this point traveling is not required, however this can change.
This person will report locally to the Marketing & Campaign Supervisor and report directly to the Global Marketing Director for Emerson Automation Solutions Platform.
