Job Family Definition:

Solves technical issues across a broad range of technologies (Servers, Storage, Network and SAN) providing Cloud Services solutions for customers. With in-depth engineering level technical product skills or skills across related technologies, applies advanced troubleshooting techniques and solution-oriented, data driven approaches to proactively identify and correct service degradation issues for customers. Beyond the break-fix model, takes end-to-end ownership and communication (internal and external) of the solution from deployment to end-of-life using established clusters of activities which produce a defined outcome. Architects and develops tailored solutions through a variety of customer contact channels in a hybrid environment: on-site and remote. About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical assistance center experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer service support personnel in cross-functional, matrix-based management work environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Juniper Networks or similar network company and system products.
  • Should be the Customer's advocate in the organization.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Service Delivery Leader in Latam region, this is a highly technical role, providing post-sales remote and on-site support of Network products to end-customers in Latam region.

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer / Resident Engineer will be required to develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the customer's network.

  • To hold network information gathering workshops with the customer to understand their existing network design and technical requirements for new network deployments.
  • To understand the customer's organizational structure, become familiar with customer's network implementation and support procedures, and help drive to the highest level of network availability and sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience

Main Purpose:

You would be part of the Infrastructure team that drives engineering, implementation, scalability, operations, and reliability of McK networks. You would be involved in Planning, Designing, Implementation and automation of Enterprise Network and Network Security infrastructure. You are expected to have solid understanding of Network Security Architecture, Zero Trust / SASE Architecture¸ Experience of Designing, Deploying Multi-cloud and Hybrid Cloud Network and have exposure of working on network projects in the areas of network deployment/implementation, network scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimization.

Use automation to develop/build software and/or services from the ground up, automate network deployment and automate day to day operational tasks. You are expected to troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues; including necessary low level application interaction, systems, and modern networking tools. You will provide valuable insights and education on effective risk reduction, compliance and governance through a prevention first security approach.

■   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject

■   5+ years relevant experience in Designing and Implementing Network and Security architectures and at least 1 year working experience on Public Cloud Networking (AWS, GCP and Azure).

■  Proficient in handling enterprise platforms like Arista/Palo Alto/Meraki/F5.

■   Hand on experience in designing, configuration of large enterprise network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF etc).

■   Deep understanding of Branch office and Campus connectivity technologies including, Wireless, Automation, Switching, Routing and Orchestration

■   In-depth understanding on site-to-site and user VPN, Security Profiles, Firewall implementation expereince with NGFW platform like Palo alto is a must/preferred.

■   Proficient in planning and handling platform lifecycle related tasks e.g software upgrades.

■   Experience with coding or scripting (preferred: Python, Ansible , Terraform). Experience with writing automatic tests is a plus

■   Proven understanding of network and secure access related components and protocols, such as Active Directory, RADIUS/TACACS, DNS, TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, Load balancing, PKI, Firewalls, network Proxies and Routing

■   Working knowledge of essential systems components like Linux OS, Container networking, K8S is a plus

■   Working knowledge of system/software development lifecycle

In this position you`ll have to implement, design and troubleshoot Emerson`s WAN networks and collaborate with the operations team in escalations when needed. Currently the focus is on SD-WAN networks since Emerson is migrating to this model.
In this role, your responsibilities will be
1. Design, implementation and configuration services for network infrastructure. The cost of these services is single once all services are put into operation.
a. LAN design:
- Internal network segmentation into VLANs
- IP redirection for internal equipment
- Introduction of mgmt. on all hospital switches that support this option
- Star topology creation (where possible)
- CORE -LAN Cat 9300 design and configuration
- Access and distribution design and configuration Cat9200 plus existing switches
b. Routing and secure internet access solution:
b1. 8300 router design
+ Configuration and connection with service provider and firewall
b2. Next generation firewall design FPR
+ Current configuration migration
+ Interconnection with the new LAN -Core
+ Creating site-to-site VPN between the 2 locations
+ Configuring the firewall in HA (high availability)
+ Creating access and NAT rules according to requirements
Security and Remote Access VPN Solution:
c1. Umbrella service design according to purchased licenses
+ Creating policy
+ Update and configuring policy
+ Validation and testing together with the beneficiary
+ Solution configuration and testing
c2. Remote access VPN solution design according to purchased licenses
2- Monthly remote maintenance services for network equipment and solutions:
