In this role you will serve as the HR Generalist for the company. You will assist our employee with all aspects of employee lifecycle. You will be in charge of the payroll process. This role will also collaborate with the HR Manager to provide support on any global HR operational needs. You will work to build relationships with employees and managers and support employee-related issues within our Latinamerican offices. We’re looking for someone who will be proactive in identifying opportunities to develop efficient and scalable processes as our business grows.
**Accountabilities**
- Maintains relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Promote and foster an environment of open communication and honest, candid feedback. Handle investigations when required.
- Performs payroll and compensation functions, including reporting, recording of payroll transactions, contributions, and other relevant information
- Support HR team projects and initiatives, including but not limited to annual performance reviews, compensation, employee relations, and training.
- Provide general guidance and consultation on a variety of HR operational matters. Interprets and educates employees on the Code of Conduct, HR policies, and provides counseling on such policies as necessary.
- Responsible for HR system data entry. This may include new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, reporting changes, salary changes, title changes, or other employee changes. Prepares communications, job descriptions, employee queries, etc.
- Support regional initiatives around Payroll and Benefits.
- Performs other related duties and HR projects as required or assigned.

- Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards that track key performance indicators such as employee turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and engagement.

**Essential Criteria**
- 2+ Years of Human Resource experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Costa Rica HR practices, policies, and laws required, additional knowledge of Latin-American laws preferred.
- Strong business, analytics, and HR acumen including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Experience working with Employee databases or systems.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

- Escalar convenientemente cualquier situación o tema relacionado con asuntos de RH
- Fomentar una cultura de cumplimiento de normas y prácticas de negocio éticas en la organización.
- Impulsar la implementación del programa de ética y cumplimiento y prevenir, detectar y corregir las violaciones de la ley, las políticas de Baxter y código de conducta.
- Implementar el código de conducta de Baxter, políticas y procedimientos, incluyendo, pero no limitado a la política Global de interacciones y política de terceros y apoyar a los procesos, asegurando la inducción y capacitación de empleados.
- Identificar riesgos de cumplimiento y legales de Baxter.
- Implementar estrategias para desarrollar al personal y contribuir al logro de los objetivos de la organización.
- Fortalecer las relaciones laborales para asegurar la estabilidad del negocio.
- Identificar áreas de oportunidad dentro de los procesos establecidos, para el desarrollo de nuevas iniciativas.
- Fortalecer los planes estratégicos de la región con el objetivo de atender los requerimientos del cliente interno.
- Mantener el control de los principales indicadores que tienen impacto directo de la organización.
- Supervisión de las operaciones de Recursos Humanos.
- Comprometerse con la evaluación, desarrollo y retroalimentación del personal.
- Garantizar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos y políticas que regulan a la organización.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de los requisitos regulatorios locales y del Ministerio de Salud internacionales-FDA, ANMAT,INVIMA, ISO 9001, ISO 14000 y sociedades tales como medicamentos BPF y dispositivos médicos de acuerdo con la NOM-059 y NOM.241.
