The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing significant large projects and development lifecycles within the IT function including strategic change, new business and product initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver the design, development and implementation of multi-disciplinary projects for process / product improvements; including process re-engineering and establishment of control procedures.
- Drive project development lifecycles to ensure timely completion and within budget.
- Lead business analysis activities to document business requirements and use cases.
- Own managing the work within project teams, including the creation of project plans and weekly status reports.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and the business organizations to ensure resolution of issues and completion of tasks.

**Requirements**:

- English B2+ (Fluent).
- 3-5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager focused on daily execution (Software development, infrastructure, etc.).
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Management Tools, Zoom, and SharePoint.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration o related field.

**Job Description**:
Project Associates participate in the achievement of a project's objectives as an active member of the project team. The project associate centrally manages and facilitates project activities and data tracking to enhance project data quality and process consistency. He/she supports the project manager workload by supporting the overall project management process. Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead the Kernel Resilience team. Kernel Resilience is an evolution to the next level of the already industry-leading focus on quality and security of the Ubuntu Linux kernel. The primary focus areas of the team will include but aren't limited to:

- Stability and reliability
- Not just running tests and reporting results but vigorously seeking ways to cause kernel crashes or other faults

Trabajarás en una cartera diversa de proyectos en diseño web y de aplicaciones, desarrollo e investigación. **Tus responsabilidades clave**

En este puesto todos los días harás algo diferente, tendrás que asumir muchas responsabilidades nuevas conforme pase el tiempo. Trabajarás de la mano con clientes y colegas, y distribuirás tu tiempo diseñando estrategias de seguridad, dando asesoría a las partes interesadas, dando talleres y apoyando el desarrollo del negocio. Si eres una persona flexible y eres capaz de adaptarte a un ambiente en constante cambio, este puesto será ideal para desarrollar tus habilidades. Como estarás trabajando directamente con nuestros clientes, se requiere que tengas disponibilidad para viajar.

**Para calificar para este puesto, deberás contar con lo siguiente**
- Ingeniero en sistemas, Ingeniero Industrial o afines
- 1 a 3 años de experiência en QA Software
- Inglés intermedio - avanzado
- Pasaporte y visa al día
- Persona proactiva, autodidacta
- Disponibilidad de viajar
- Conocimiento avanzado en herramientas de automatización
