**Job Summary**:
Responsible for conducting outbound sales calls to sell products to customers (businesses and/or individuals) in order to achieve sales quotas.

**Principal Duties/Responsibilities Required**:

- Working from customer lists and/or database, makes outbound follow-up calls to existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and service contracts.
- Closes a medium volume of sales orders.
- Sales are medium complexity and the sales rep performs a consultative role for the customers.
- Emphasizes features and benefits of represented products/services.
- Provide accurate quotes, and ensure correct credit terms and vendor information is in database.
- Meets or exceeds all quotas and activity objectives in assigned territory.
- Uses sound judgment and discretion when making decisions that affect the business unit, such as, appropriate and timely escalation, adjusting margins or providing discounts to close a sale.
- Provides high quality service to customers and prospects by assessing customer requirements, ensuring prompt response in providing product information and product pricing.
- Actively profiles all customers and use effective telephone selling skills to promote client products, service programs and systems.
- Builds the customer/prospect database by profiling and capturing relevant customer and product information.
- Recommends improvements or changes to internal processes and data processing to meet or exceed sales goals and to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Actively participates in assigned sales training, lectures, presentations and meetings.
- Makes 50-100 outbound calls per day with 8 high-value meeting calls per day, each meeting call with duration > 15 minutes.

We are seeking hardworking and dedicated professionals to join our growing team of Europe Experts. The purpose of the Reservations Coordinator is support the needs of our Travel Agent Partners in the period between initial deposit and completion of trip.

**Who we are**:
Established in 1990, Europe Express provides high-quality, custom travel to Europe for their North American clients. The company serves both private group and FIT leisure markets, working exclusively with travel advisors to book everything from air and rail to hotels and sightseeing tours.

**Location**:
This is a hybrid role where you will be required to spend a minimum of 2 days in our office located in Escazu Village, San Jose.

**Salary**:
The position offers a base salary plus commission, health benefits, paid time off, travel benefits, employee assistance program and career progression opportunities.

**Scheduling**:
This is a full-time, 40 hours a week position with day time shifts (Mon-Fri / Tues-Sat / Wed-Sun).

**What you will be doing**:

- Discover needs of client through consultative sales approach.
- Create custom Europe destination itineraries to include arrangements for air, hotels, sightseeing and ground transportation.
- Research and price services to align within client budget expectations.
- Provide guidance and make recommendations on routing of itinerary based on client needs.
- Re-sell product when necessary, e.g. hotel closures, major airline schedule changes, service disruptions.
- Educate Travel Agent Partners about Europe Express products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Research and maintain current knowledge of all product offerings.
- Exceed customer expectations and NPS satisfaction targets.

**What we are looking for**:

- 3+ years of sales experience in travel industry with a focus on Europe destinations required.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding inside sales goals required.
- Demonstrated customer service and self-management skills required.
- Background in a consultative sales environment, preferably within the travel industry required.
- Experience with business-to-business sales and relationship/account management building skills preferred.
- Experience with web-based computer systems required.
- Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred).
- High level of written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to work hours aligned with Pacific Time Zone.
- Strong knowledge of Hubspot and MS Teams.
