Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor position will directly be responsible for the production and line personnel and support the implementation of the site strategy for manufacturing to ensure the manufacture of high-quality products and to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.
Role Requirements
The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee operations efficiency and standardization in the production lines.
- Directly responsible for the production and quality of the product, as well as line personnel.
- Analyze and evaluate process improvements in order to reduce defects and scrap and/or improve yields.
- Follow procedures established for each operation, and keep work areas organized and clean at all times.
- Participate and/or lead problem-solving processes, whether due to increasing trends on complaints, defects, scrap, or low productivity, among others.

EXPERIENCE

Your role
The Channel Operations Supervisor is a key member of the Commercial Operations Team, reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager at the Baxter BBS at Costa Rica, under the Medical Products and Therapies Division, while supporting other GBU's activities. The person in this role is responsible for leading all the operational aspects of the Channel Operations team, being the first point of escalation for internal and external customers, will also monitor, oversee, and act on the operational performance of the Channel Operations Team. The position requires collaboration with other cross functional stake holders across the Commercial Operations Organizations, like Sales, Contracts, Pricing, Incentive Comp, Finance, etc to ensure alignment of goals, strategies, initiatives, and Priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and coordinate a group of collaborators to ensure the Channel Operations Activities (Uploads, Eligibility Requests, Chargeback/Trace error clearing, Small/Medium Trading Partner Management, Payments, AR resolution, etc) are completed accurately, timely and are aligned to support the Commercial Ops Targets, Goals and Priorities,
- Provide business support to the different functions as needed to enable optimal business decisions.
- Prepare the Monthly Results/Metrics to Review, working closely with leadership. Participate on monthly reviews of results, provide improvement actions where necessary
- Perform adhoc analysis/reports/audits for strategic evaluations to support management decision making
- Drive and encourage team, on different projects, initiatives, migrations, etc building a process improvement mindset on the team
- Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial and business expertise to drive results.
- Effectively communicate with the team reporting to this role, as well with the entire Commercial Excellence Team as well with other key stakeholders / broader organization and Senior Management

Your roleThe Channel Operations Supervisor is a key member of the Commercial Operations Team, reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager at the Baxter BBS at Costa Rica, under the Medical Products and Therapies Division, while supporting other GBU's activities. The person in this role is responsible for leading all the operational aspects of the Channel Operations team, being the first point of escalation for internal and external customers, will also monitor, oversee, and act on the operational performance of the Channel Operations Team. The position requires collaboration with other cross functional stake holders across the Commercial Operations Organizations, like Sales, Contracts, Pricing, Incentive Comp, Finance, etc to ensure alignment of goals, strategies, initiatives, and Priorities.
What you'll be doing- Lead and coordinate a group of collaborators to ensure the Channel Operations Activities (Uploads, Eligibility Requests, Chargeback/Trace error clearing, Small/Medium Trading Partner Management, Payments, AR resolution, etc) are completed accurately, timely and are aligned to support the Commercial Ops Targets, Goals and Priorities,
- Provide business support to the different functions as needed to enable optimal business decisions.
- Prepare the Monthly Results/Metrics to Review, working closely with leadership. Participate on monthly reviews of results, provide improvement actions where necessary
- Perform adhoc analysis/reports/audits for strategic evaluations to support management decision making
- Drive and encourage team, on different projects, initiatives, migrations, etc building a process improvement mindset on the team
- Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial and business expertise to drive results.
- Effectively communicate with the team reporting to this role, as well with the entire Commercial Excellence Team as well with other key stakeholders / broader organization and Senior Management
- Develop and guide team reporting under the leadership of this position so that they may achieve their career goals within our organization.
- Attract, retain, and develop the best talent, set objectives and performance goals, optimize team structure ensuring employee engagement across the site.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
- 5+ years of experience on similar positions
- English Advanced level B2+ -C1
- High proficiency in Microsoft office, especially excel.
- Attention to detail, good problem solving, and analytical skills required
- Collaborative and teamwork oriented
- Good interpersonal relationships
